Police say they will "work with local businesses" and continue to patrol after multiple reports of children climbing rooftops to throw eggs and stones in Shirley.
Residents called for more to be done after youths were seen climbing up a lamppost to get onto the roof of Peacocks on Shirley Road.
They were then seen throwing objects at pedestrians walking on the pavement beneath them, and these scenes were noted twice in one week.

Shirley's local bobbie PC Byrne posted on the Southampton Police Facebook account to let locals know that patrols were continuing.
The post said: "I have been out and about in Shirley today conducting patrols in relation to anti social behaviour on Shirley High Street after concerns were raised by local residents about issues with youths on the roofs of the shops.
"Whilst there were no issues today I am aware of these incidents and will continue to patrol the high street and work with local businesses to help reduce these incidents in the future."
