A DEVELOPER has completed the purchase of a site on which 164 homes will be built in New Milton.
Pennyfarthing Homes announced the completion of the site purchase for the Danes Park development at the end of February.
Danes Park will include a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom bungalows and two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.
It will be situated on a ten hectare Brockhills Lane site, acquired by the company in 2016.

After strategic planning and investment, Pennyfarthing Homes secured inclusion in the New Forest District Council's local plan in 2020.
This led to the approval of a planning application for 164 homes in February 2024.
Half of these homes will be affordable, comprising rented and shared ownership properties.
These affordable units have already been sold to New Forest District Council.
Councillor Steve Davies, portfolio holder for housing and homelessness at the council, said: "This new development is a wonderful opportunity for our community, providing much-needed housing for local families.
"It’s especially encouraging that nearly half of the site has been allocated for green spaces and recreational areas, enhancing the quality of life for residents."
The development will also see infrastructure improvements and offsite highway upgrades to enhance the local environment and improve road safety.
Building work is expected to start this April.
