A new group of "Digi Dogs" have joined Hampshire police to tackle child exploitation, fraud and stalking, as they will be trained up to sniff out hidden digital recording devices.

The dogs, named Evie, Iggy and Moss are undergoing eight weeks of rigorous training which will equip them with the skills to detect devices like mobile phones, laptops, USB drives, and even spy cameras.

Six-year-old Loki will also be renewing his license and the old dog will be learning some new tricks.

The dogs will soon be deployed across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, and the Thames Valley to help uncover crucial evidence.

"They're skilled at working in diverse environments, from residential areas to open landscapes, from vehicles to commercial buildings, and even aircraft.

"These dogs have supported a wide range of investigations, uncovering critical evidence that would have been difficult to locate otherwise."
