A Chandler’s Ford manufacturing business is set for a temporary office expansion.
Workdry International, which shares the Selwood Limited premises on Bournemouth Road, has sought planning permission for a three-storey office building.
This expansion is needed to accommodate an increasing workforce that has outgrown the current facilities.
The temporary structure, to be supplied by Portakabin Ltd, will serve as office space while a permanent head office location is explored.

With a total floor area of 639 square metres, the planned building will house 34 staff, with daily occupancy varying between 20 and 50, depending on work schedules, meetings, and training.
Workdry International is a manufacturing company that produces parts for water and wastewater handling and treatment.
A spokesperson for Workdry International said: "The proposed temporary accommodation also makes use of current transport infrastructure as the temporary building will be installed within the site curtilage."
The move is part of the company's strategy to maintain operations smoothly during its transition to a larger headquarters.
