Southampton is set for glorious rays of sunshine next week as the temperature in the city is set to be hotter than in Barcelona.
The city has been treated to blue skies and sunshine this weekend – and next week seems sure to follow suit.
A Met Office spokesperson said: “Fine and dry across the majority of the UK at the start of this period, although a few showers could affect the far north and far south on Thursday.”

While there will be some cloudy spells with the chance of rain, the sun will be shining over the city again with Thursday set to see highs of 17 degrees.

- Tuesday – March 18 – 12 degrees, sunny
- Wednesday – March 19 - 15 degrees, sunny
- Thursday – March 20 - 17 degrees, sunny
- Friday – March 21 - 14 degrees, sunny and cloudy
- Saturday – March 22 - 13 degrees, sunny and cloudy
