A man has been charged after £20,000 worth of jewellery was stolen from a pawnbrokers.
Richard Stephen Smith, 43, of no fixed abode, has been charged with burglary and possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place.
This comes after a man entered H&T Pawnbrokers on East Street, Southampton, at 1.30pm on Wednesday, March 12, and stole jewellery worth around £20,000.
Nobody was injured during the incident.

Smith appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court this morning, where he was remanded into custody.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We shared an appeal yesterday to identify a man in connection with a burglary at H&T Pawnbrokers, in East Street.
"Following our investigation, Richard Stephen Smith, 43, of no fixed abode, has been charged with burglary and possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place.
"He appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court this morning, where he was remanded into custody."
