Roads around a Gurdwara have been cordoned off this morning with residents left in the dark about what has happened.
Police descended on the area around Northbrook Road before 9am, blocking streets surrounding the Gurdwara Guru Tegh Bahadar Sahib. A committee member confirmed no-one from the Sikh place of worship was involved with the incident.
Several marked vehicles and officers remain on the cordon, blocking St Marks Road, Nichols Road, Northbrook Road and a small section of Argyle Road.

A Derby Road resident, who wished to remain unnamed, said: “I got home about 2am last night and I’m sure they weren’t there at that time, but maybe I missed it.”
The resident said that so many cars keep driving past their house and then have to turn around, waking them up in the process.
