Several pets in Hampshire are looking for their forever homes, including at the RSPCA Solent branch in The Stubbington Ark.

Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.

A few animals from The Stubbington Ark are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

To help the RSPCA Solent branch carry on its work you can donate to their website here.

Zorro

Gender - Male

Age - Two years old

Breed - Border Collie crossbreed

Colour - Black and White

If you want to adopt Zorro you can view their full profile here.

Zorro is a "smart" and "agile" dog who loves to train/play and cuddle with his human friends.

He would benefit from positive reinforcement training and possibly be a good companion for dog sports like canicross or agility.

Zorro can be worried by new people and will bark at them when out on walks but is getting better over time.

The RSPCA adds: "He is fully muzzle trained and will need to wear a muzzle if he is walking through busy places and possibly at the vet."

Ideally, Zorro would live in a quiet, adult-only household with a secure garden.

Marley

Gender - Female

Age - Unknown

Breed - Lurcher

Colour - Brindle

If you want to adopt Marley you can view their full profile here.

Marley is described as a "sweet" and "gentle" dog who walks well on the lead and responds well to training.

She is reactive to other dogs but she is responding well to training and learning to be calm at a distance.

As a result, Marley will need to be exercised in a quiet area where there are minimal dogs around.

The RSPCA adds: "Marley will need a private enclosed garden with a 6ft fence, ideally in a quiet area or with the option to drive to somewhere quiet for walks. Experience with a reactive dog would be beneficial."

Dusty

Gender - Female

Age - Three years old

Breed - Domestic Longhair

Colour - Grey

If you want to adopt Dusty you can view their full profile here.

Dusty was very shy when first arriving in the care of the RSPCA but now enjoys human interaction and some gentle fuss.

She has grown in confidence as she will often come and sit by people and is starting to enjoy being brushed gently.

The RSPCA adds: "Dusty does prefer the safety of her unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden."

Dusty would do best as the only pet in an adult-only household.

Gender - Male

Age - Unknown

Breed - Cockerel

Colour - Brown

If you want to adopt Brian and Keith you can view their full profile here.

Brian and Keith are two cockerels who love spending their day outdoors digging in their enrichment trays.

The pair could be rehomed together or separately but would need to be placed with a certain amount of chickens depending on this.

Brian and Keith can live around other pets but would need to be kept separately.

The RSPCA adds: "They can live with children of all ages, but to be supervised when interacting (especially younger children below the age of 11 years)."
