A driver was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash.
Police in Gosport said a member of the public saw a car swerve and hit a kerb.
Officers said they made an arrest and the person is now being held in custody.
They are also investigating if the driver had insurance.
The driver was taken to Portsmouth Custody Centre.
The March 13 incident was one of several complex cases handled by the police control room, neighbourhoods, and response teams that day, officers said.
The police thanked the member of the public for their assistance.
