The world's largest event for young carers is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Running from June 27 to 29, the Young Carers Festival (YCF) will return to Botley in Southampton.
Organised by YMCA Fairthorne Group in partnership with The Children’s Society, the festival provides a space for young carers to connect and recharge.
This year, it is anticipated that 1,500 young carers will attend the weekend of fun, friendship, and advocacy.
The event allows these individuals to meet others who understand their experiences and provides an opportunity to focus on themselves.
YMCA Fairthorne Group's CEO, Phillipa Spicer, said: "The Young Carers Festival gives these hidden heroes the support, recognition, and connection they deserve.
"When we listen to young carers, we can change their lives for the better.
"Holding this festival is also a great way for us to support young carers by giving them a weekend of fun and excitement and a chance to be children again."
