Average speed cameras and CCTV will be installed on a motorway in Hampshire next week.
The cameras will be put up along the M3 at Junction 9 from Monday.
It is ahead of the start of work on upgrades to the junction, due to begin next month.
National Highways stated the cameras will be covered and not in use until main works begin on the junction in late April.

National Highways wants to widen the junction, a major intersection for traffic heading from the Port of Southampton, and build two new bridges, allowing the M3 to increase from three lanes to four as it passes through.
The southbound slip road from the A34 onto the M3 will also be extended so traffic has more time to join the motorway and improve the safety of the junction.
Funding worth £290 million was approved by the government this week.
These changes are hoped to reduce congestion and noise levels supporting economic growth.
