Pupils at King Edward VI Preparatory School have enjoyed a week of creativity and hands-on learning.
The annual STEAM Week, focusing on science, technology, engineering, art, and maths, had the theme 'Changing and Adapting.'
Each year group explored different aspects of the theme, including climate change, plant adaptation, and recycling.
The school welcomed local STEM Ambassadors, who shared their expertise and inspired the pupils.
Activities included designing habitat boxes for wildlife, a virtual reality rainforest journey, and experimenting with AI technology to create fictitious plants.
The pupils also developed and recorded educational podcasts.
The week ended with a jobs fair, allowing pupils to meet professionals from various industries and explore careers in STEAM subjects.
Rebecca Smith, headmistress at KES Prep, said: "STEAM Week is a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to develop curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on, engaging way.
"It reinforces our commitment to providing a well-rounded education that inspires children to think critically and embrace new challenges."
