Romsey marked Commonwealth Day with the "Fly a Flag for the Commonwealth" initiative.
The event, attended by local dignitaries, including Test Valley deputy mayor councillor Linda Lashbrook and Romsey town mayor councillor John Parker, saw the Commonwealth Flag raised outside the former magistrates court in Romsey.
The flag-raising was one of 500 across the UK.
This year's event, held on March 10, celebrated unity and peace under the theme "Together We Thrive," recognising the enduring spirit of the Commonwealth family, which consists of 56 independent nations.
Liberal Democrat parliamentary spokesperson for Romsey and Southampton, Geoff Cooper, said: "At a time when the world feels more fractured, unstable, and unpredictable, it is important that we show support for our Commonwealth partners.
"We stand with Canada and all our Commonwealth friends and allies.
"Today we pledge to work together for freedom, justice, and prosperity for all.
"As a group of partners, the members of the Commonwealth strive for peace and understanding between all people and nations."
