Cathy Gordon is in Winchester to visit a friend.
She said: "I was going to go to Reading for the day but as I approached the station they said it was closed.
"I'm not going to worry about it today. I will make other plans and go tomorrow. It doesn't have a huge impact for me."

Hampshire Chronicle reporter Chris Atkinson is at the scene, speaking to those affected.
A student from The University of Southampton said: "We have a trip scheduled today, but it looks like we won't get there.
"We were supposed to survey a workplace, but that is not happening."
Huge queues
Passengers have been left stranded at the station as huge queues build.

The British Transport Police have confirmed a person has died.
A spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Winchester railway station at 8.48am today to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
Trains are not expected to return to normal until 3pm.
