The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

PETER GOODCHILD, 47, of Milton Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing charity donations from Holy Trinity Church in Millbrook Road West, Southampton. Told to pay £175 compensation. No order for costs or victim services surcharge.

CHARLTON MORGAN, 27, of Irving Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Matheson Road, Southampton, on March 2 2025. Also pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to window. Remanded on conditional bail until April 1 2025 and handed interim driving ban.

BENJAMIN GARNES, 39, of College Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while disqualified. Jailed for 12 weeks, banned from driving for 18 months, and told to pay £85 costs. Also pleaded guilty to two counts of driving with no insurance. Driving record endorsed. Also pleaded guilty to possessing controlled Class A drug. No separate penalty.

ALEXANDER DIBDEN, 41, of Wallace Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing controlled Class A drug in Southampton on December 2 2024. Remanded in custody until March 21 2025.

KARL AVELLINO, 40, of HMP Winchester, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving at Northam Road, Southampton, on June 20 2024. Levels of cocaine and benzoylecgonine in his system exceeded legal limit. Banned from driving for 60 months, handed 18-month conditional discharge and £26 victim services surcharge.

KELLY HUTCHINGS, 37, of Kitchers Close, Hythe, pleaded guilty to drug driving at Alton on March 12 2024. Also pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and failing to answer bail. Remanded on conditional bail until May 20 2025.

RICHARD BURLEY, 40, of Campbell Road, Eastleigh, pleaded guilty to stealing meat valued at £25 from Iceland Foods at Eastleigh on February 27 2025. Also pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol valued at £9.80 from Tesco and Eastleigh on February 17 2025. Jailed for a total of four weeks.
