The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
NAOMI TUSON, 46, of Victoria Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft after she was caught stealing a case of Stella Artois beer worth £6.15 from the Co-op in Southampton on November 29, 2024. She was ordered to pay £6.15 compensation and a fine of £80.
CAMERON CHASE, 22, of Culver Close, Southampton, admitted a charge of theft after he stole items worth £60 from Lidl in Southampton on November 5, 2024. He was sentenced to a six-month conditional discharge and must pay £60 compensation. He must also pay a surcharge of £26.
VINNIE BRUNSDON, 19, of Victoria Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary after he stole a car key and bank card, a charge of theft from a motor vehicle after he stole a house key, a charge of burglary after he stole a drill set, drill bit set and a sander, and a charge of theft after he stole a DAB radio. All of these offences occurred in Preston Road, Weymouth, on November 23, 2023. He will appear before the same court on May 2.

ARNOLD VERNON, 60, of Warburton Road, Southampton, admitted three charges of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place after he was caught with a wooden pole with screws in the ends, and two police-style batons at a block of flats in Southampton on February 28. He also admitted a charge of common assault after he assaulted a man on the same date. He will appear before the same court on June 3.
JAY KITCHER, 25, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft after he stole Blue Emporio Armani frames worth £270 from Boots in Southampton on September 12, 2024. He was handed a four week prison sentence as his “offences are aggravated by previous convictions” and were committed while on licence.
