Thieves punched a teenage boy before pushing him off his electric bike in a robbery.
The incident happened in Water Lane, Totton at around 5pm near Totton College with the thieves taking the bike from the 13-year-old victim.
Police said they are investigating the report and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "As part of our enquiries, we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time stated.
"Please also get in touch with us if you have any footage of the incident, including doorbell camera, dash cam, mobile phone, or any other CCTV."

The stolen bike is described as a Shengmilo S600 250 Watts Motor.
