A lifeboat crew rushed to save five people and two dogs that were stranded onboard a boat that had caught fire.
The Calshot RNLI volunteer crew were quick to leave their training session in Cowes to sail near West Bramble, where they discovered the blaze on a boat.
Two of the people on the vessel had been in the cabin when the fire broke out and had inhaled smoke.

The dogs and two crew members were taken to Swanwick, while the two requiring further treatment were assessed for potential carbon monoxide poisoning by an ambulance crew and the specialist team at Calshot Lifeboat Station.
For trainee crew member James Johnston, the boat fire was his first ever shout for the RNLI.
He said it was “brilliant to be part of the crew” for the incident.
Mike Atwell, Calshot RNLI lifeboat operations manager, said: "A fire at sea has potential to rapidly become a catastrophic incident, and it is a testament to the skills of our volunteer crew that they reached the scene rapidly."
