Hedge End is home to large shops and a retail park, but perhaps it is only the residents who know how renowned the area is for its plethora of Chinese takeaways.
At present Hedge End has double the number of Chinese takeaways than it does pubs and petrol stations.
With three of its four highly rated Chinese takeaways all located within a less than half a mile stretch, it seems to be a gold mine for those looking to branch out into Chinese cuisine.
Off the back of the town’s apparent love for the food, we have ranked each takeaway based on their Google reviews.
Woks Hot (Image: Google) Woks Hot - Leads the pack with a score of 4.3 out of 5.

"Staff are great and food is always quick and tastes delicious!"
However, not everyone is satisfied.
Alex Holder said: "Food was super dry and lacked any real flavour and stuff that shouldn’t be very hard was rock solid."
