Several pets in Hampshire are looking for their forever homes, including at the RSPCA Solent branch in The Stubbington Ark.

Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.

A few animals from The Stubbington Ark are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

To help the RSPCA Solent branch carry on its work you can donate to their website here.

Margret

Gender - Female

Age - Eight weeks old

Breed - French Bulldog

Colour - Grey

If you want to adopt Margret you can view their full profile here.

Margret is a "confident, loving and outgoing" puppy who likes to explore new things and is very inquisitive.

She loves cuddles, a bit of fuss and most of all playing a good game of tug or chase.

Margret will need a dedicated owner who is prepared to put in the time and effort it takes when raising a puppy.

She will need someone home with her at all times at first and will need gradual exposure to being left alone.

Alongside that, she will need access to a secure garden to run around in.

The RSPCA adds: "Margret can live with children, other dogs and cats. Adopters must be willing to expose them to other animals slowly, and guide children how to behave around them."

Willow

Gender - Female

Age - 12 weeks old

Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Colour - Black, White and Orange

If you want to adopt Willow you can view their full profile here.

Willow is a confident and playful dog who loves a cuddle and fuss, as well as playing with toys.

She's not had the best start in life, coming into the care of the RSPCA at only a few months old.

Willow will need a dedicated owner who is prepared to put in the time and effort it takes when raising a puppy.

She could possibly live with secondary school-aged children, other dogs and cats.

Nero

Gender - Male

Age - Six months old

Breed - Husky crossbreed

Colour - Tan and White

If you want to adopt Nero you can view their full profile here.

Nero is described as a "wonderful boy" who loves to engage with his handlers and has great focus and drive to train.

He is looking for a family who is experienced with large-breed puppies and understands the time and dedication involved in raising a puppy.

Nero can be vocal at times so will need someone who is willing to manage this and give him plenty of enrichment, walks and attention.

The RSPCA adds: "Due to Nero’s size and young age, he can be homed with children 13 years or over. He cannot live around other cats or dogs.

"Even though Nero needs to be the only dog in the home, he would enjoy having doggy friends to walk and play with outside."

Gender - Female

Age - Six to 12 months old

Breed - Gerbil

Colour - Tan and White

If you want to adopt Glinda and Elphaba you can view their full profile here.

Glinda and Elphaba are sisters who love spending their days making new burrows and gnawing their way through wooden chews.

Elphaba is the more confident of the pair and she’ll usually be the first to pop her head up out of her bedding to say hello.

Both can be a bit wriggly but are quite good to be handled when needed.

They can live around other pets but would need to be kept in a separate room.
