A beloved waterfront pub celebrated a decade of serving own-brewed beers and an alcohol inspired food menu with a banquet and a performance from an Elvis impersonator.

The Dancing Man Brewery restaurant on Town Quay, known as The Wool House, turned ten last weekend.

The pub brews almost all its drink offerings on site, serving exclusive drops like the Big Casino that can only be found at pubs owned by the brewery.

To celebrate the milestone birthday, the Dancing Men directors threw a two-day party, offering a four-course banquet and a performance from the highly-commended Elvis impersonator Jason P.

“It was wonderful in lots of different ways, and quite emotional too," said brewing director Aidan Lavin.

"There were lots of friends and family there, it was heart-warming in that way.

"I was quite reflective on it because it was a nice opportunity to take stock and appreciate what we’ve done and what we’ve achieved."

The Southampton Town Crier was also in attendance.

The pub flew in Elvis impersonator Jason from Corfu and had the banquet curated by the restaurant's head chef.

Lifelong brewing aficionado Aidan Lavin and pub expert Mandy Lacey took over the building of the former Maritime Museum in 2014 and have never looked back since.
