A man is due to appear in court after a flat caught fire.
Patrik Belle, aged 56, will face a charge of arson, acting recklessly as to whether life was endangered following a fire at a flat on Suffolk Drive, Chandler’s Ford, on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
During the incident, Suffolk Drive was swarming with fire crews and police, as firefighters battled to quell the blaze, which began shortly after 12am.

The fire was contained to the ground floor flat, the fire service said.
Following the issuing of a postal requisition, Belle, of Winnall Valley Road, is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 3.
