The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
AHMED AL-KIBRYA, 28, of Arnold Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to possession of a CS Spray canister designed for discharging a noxious liquid or gas in Southampton on July 11, 2024. He was handed a £323 fine and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the CS Spray cannister. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85.
TRUNG VU, 26, OF The Green, Bolton-upon-Dearne, admitted a charge of being in possession of cannabis in Basingstoke on October 18, 2022. He will appear at Southampton Crown Court to be sentenced on March 17.
NAOMI LENNARDS, 41, of Beech crescent, Hythe, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft after she stole goods worth £245.69 from Asda in Southampton on November 14, 2024. She will appear before the same court on July 10, 2025.
JOE STAPLETON, 36, of Lydgate Green, Thornhill, admitted a charge of theft after he, jointly with Matthew Lang, stole four Moncler coats worth £5,840 from Flannels in Southampton on November 11, 2024. He will appear before the same court on July 10, 2025.

LYEZ BENALI, 23, of Lavender Close, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a racially-aggravated charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour causing harassment, alarm or distress, in Leicester on November 6, 2023. He was handed a 12-month conditional discharge meaning he cannot commit any crimes in that 12-month period, otherwise he faces a prison sentence.
RYAN OAKES, 26, of Elizabeth Road, Basingstoke, admitted a charge of drug driving after he was found with 3.7 micrograms of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol – a cannabinoid found in cannabis – in his blood in Oakley on July 17, 2024. He also admitted a charge of using a vehicle without third party insurance in Oakley on July 17, 2024. He was banned from driving for a year and must pay a fine of £276. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £110 surcharge.
