A councillor has questioned the leader of Hampshire County Council over pothole repairs.
Cllr Nick Adams-King has told councillors that this time of year is not good for fixing potholes after being asked about pothole repairs in Totton.
He added that a number of pothole repairs on Brokenford Lane, Totton, were merely temporary and would be repaired permanently when the weather improves.

He was responding after being questioned by Councillor David Harrison.
He said: “At the meeting of Hampshire County Council, I made the point about poor quality pothole repairs and the need to invest in proper, adequate, road resurfacing.
“This would save the need to keep fixing potholes.
“The reply I got from the Conservative leader was that this was not a good time of the year to resurface roads and that the pothole repairs were indeed just temporary fixes.”
