An Ampfield road will be closed temporarily for pole works to take place.
Jermyns Lane, between its junctions with Braishfield Road and Ganger Farm Way, will be shut to traffic for one day on Tuesday, February 25.
The closure will be in place from 8.30am to 3.30pm, allowing Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out the necessary works.
Hampshire County Council has stated the order for the road closure is to be in effect for a period of six months, or until the completion of the works.

However, the council anticipates the road will only be closed for one day.
Sunbelt Rentals Ltd has assured that reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises, and notice will be given to those directly affected by the work.
An alternative route for motorists will be via the A3090 and Braishfield Road.
Any inquiries regarding the road closure and the works can be directed to surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk.
