A man in his 60s has been injured after a collision with a car near a petrol station in Hedge End.
Drivers reported a police presence and ambulance near the Texaco Petrol Garage at the Maypole Roundabout in Hedge End on Thursday.
This caused panic among drivers and police have now revealed that a cyclist, a man in his 60s, was injured after his bike collided with a car.

Police have said that the injuries were only considered minor and have now issued the following details.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 5.10pm on Thursday, February 13, to a report of a road traffic collision at the junction of Grange Road and Lower Northam Road in Hedge End.
"The collision involved a Volkswagen Polo and a cyclist.
"The cyclist, a man in his 60s, suffered a minor injury."
