Trainee sailors have helped spread Valentine's Day cheer at a local nursing home.
The Victory Squadron group visited Tudor Lodge Nursing Home to assist with celebrations, serving residents a three-course meal and taking time to listen to their stories.
AB Sampford, who attended the event said: "The experience was a wonderful opportunity to learn from those who served before us and to give back to the community. We offered support and gratitude to the dedicated staff and created memorable moments for the residents, especially as it’s the season of love."
Some residents shared military connections, creating a special bond with the sailors.
The team concluded the afternoon by handing out roses. Tudor Lodge thanked the squadron for their visit and warm spirit.
