One person gave a list of pubs they enjoyed which included Olaf's Tun, Butcher's Hook, Dancing Man and Platform Tavern among many others.
Olaf's Tun in particular seems to be a favourite, with it having earned a 5/5 score on Tripadvisor from 42 reviews.
In response to the list, another user said: "I'd add Overdraft (The one off Bedford Place) Clockwork over in Shirley and Craft 101 in Shirley as well."
Beards and Boards got a lot of love, with one person absolutely loving their cider options.
They wrote: "Beards & Boards PEARFECTION Pear Cider is the best alcoholic drink I’ve ever had in my life. It is heavenly!!"
Another user added: "Alt (pop punk and emo) -music and skateboard themed micro. Mid-range beer. If you like the theme, you'll like the pub."
The same person also gave descriptions of several other pubs in the city that they would recommend, which included Belgium & Blues.

Meanwhile, the Rockstone was brought up by a few people, with one heaping praise on it for its "incredible" food options.
One person brought up The South Western Arms, specifically on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, while The Mitre and The Broadway were also praised.
Other establishments that were mentioned included The Crown, Guide Dog, Duke of Wellington and Bookshop Alehouse.
