A person has been taken to hospital after an incident which saw the air ambulance respond.
The air ambulance landed at Botley Grange Hotel and Spa at around 7.30pm on Thursday evening.
A person was then taken to Southampton General Hospital by road for further treatment.
Many living in the area heard the sound of the air ambulance landing at the hotel.

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance said: "We can confirm that the air ambulance was dispatched at 19:26 to a medical incident in Southampton on Thursday 13 February.
"The pilots landed the helicopter at Botley Grange Hotel and Spa.
"The Critical Care Team consisting of one doctor and a specialist paramedic provided medical treatment to a patient before escorting them to University Hospital Southampton by road ambulance."
