The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

LOUISE MILLER, 46, of Eastlands, New Milton, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft after she stole Aerial gels worth £15.30 from Nisa Local in Southampton on December 17, 2024. She will next appear before the same court on May 21.

TOMMY GRIFFITHS, 34, of Hameldon Close, Southampton, admitted a charge of theft after stealing £180 worth of items from Southern Cooperative in Southampton on January 20. He will appear before the same court on April 16.

KEITH WATSON, 31, of Kingsclere Avenue, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating, in Southampton on May 11, 2024. He will next appear at the same court on May 28.

SCOTT CROUCH, 22, of Hedley Close, Fawley, admitted a charge of using a vehicle without third party insurance, and a charge of drug driving when he was caught with Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol – a cannabinoid found in cannabis – in his blood. Both offences occurred in Southampton on June 21, 2024. He was banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay a fine of £366. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge of £146.

STEVEN WOODCOCK, 29, of Bluebell Gardens, Hythe, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a Stanley knife in Totton Precinct on April 7, 2024. He also admitted being in possession of herbal cannabis, and a charge of theft after stealing Hannon Electrical Tape and Haribo Strawberry Softies worth £2.50 from Poundland. These offences also occurred on April 7, 2024. He will next appear at the same court on May 28.

SATIBRE DIGWA, 39, of Roberts Road, Southampton, admitted a charge of drink driving after being caught with 101 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath in Portland Terrace on August 31, 2024. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Digwa was handed a 12 month community order and must complete 100 hours of unpaid work, and was handed a driving ban of 28 months. Digwa must pay £85 prosecution costs and £114 surcharge.
