A BUS was forced to cancel its route after an incident in Poole.

A Morebus service from Tollerford Road to Poole was forced to abandon its route after a car pulled out in front of the bus at around 7am on Wednesday morning, February 12.

The vehicle suffered minor damage and no injuries were reported.

A spokesperson for Morebus said: “A car pulled out in front of the bus whilst the bus was out of service and heading to its starting point.

"The bus was slightly damaged so had to go back to the depot.”

Morebus updated passengers on social media, read: “Due to a vehicle incident, the 06:35 Service 25 Tollerford Road to Poole has not operated. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
