A dental clinic in Southampton has been rated as 'Good' following a visit from inspectors.
Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspectors visited Bursledon Dental Clinic in Bursledon, Southampton, for a follow-up assessment last November.
The clinic provides mainly private dental care and treatment, along with a small NHS contract for treating children, serving a diverse range of patients.
Inspectors found that the practice had made significant improvements since a previous inspection on November 23, 2023, when it was noted that the clinic was not providing well-led care and was in breach of regulation 17 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
During the follow-up, inspectors noted that "the practice had improved their systems to manage risks" and that "recruitment procedures were updated to reflect current legislation".
The clinic features three treatment rooms and offers step-free access for wheelchair users and those with pushchairs.
