Fordingbridge’s community refill shop is hosting a free talk on sustainability.

The Green Gram, an award-winning community refill shop, is hosting a free talk on sustainability.

The talk, ‘Being Clean and Green’, will be held at the Avonway Community Centre on Tuesday, March 4, at 7.30pm.

The talk will be given by The Green Gram’s outreach co-ordinator, Wendy Reid.

Wendy said: "In this session, I’m planning on explain how the development of cleaning products has evolved over the years, and I will highlight some of the chemicals used in many household cleaners and personal care products.

"These can have a dramatic and detrimental impact on our health and the environment. We will also look at safer alternatives and will look at how easy it is to make home-made cleaning products."

Numbers for the event are limited, so The Green Gram requests that attendees book a ticket in advance by visiting ticketsource.co.uk/fordingbridge-greener-living or emailing fordingbridgegreenerliving@gmail.com.
