He's the homecoming hero set to headline Southampton Summer Sessions. 

Southampton's own Craig David will grace the Guildhall Square stage for the city's second summer music series in 2025. 

Tickets for the Saturday night appearance of his TS5 show on June 21, with DJ Patrick Nazemi in support, go on general sale on Valentine's Day on Friday from smmrsessions.com

Already announced for TK Maxx presents Southampton Summer Sessions this year are McFly, The Human League, Simple Minds, Rag’n’Bone Man and more. 

Craig David is the award-winning global superstar who grew up on Southampton's Holyrood estate and attended Bellemoor School, now Upper Shirley High.

He told the Daily Echo: "I really can’t wait. Returning to my hometown always holds a special place in my heart. Looking forward to an unforgettable night with everyone!"

With his unmistakable blend of R&B, garage, and pop, he burst onto the scene with his debut album ‘Born to Do It’ in 2000, featuring iconic hits like Fill Me In and 7 Days.

His globally acclaimed TS5 show began as an exclusive Miami penthouse party, but has since transformed into a worldwide phenomenon, combining live DJing, MCing, and vocals, and selling out iconic venues across the globe, from Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage to arena shows in New York, Ibiza, and beyond.

With a setlist blending old-school anthems, chart-topping hits, and crowd-favourite bangers, Craig’s TS5 show is a celebration of music.

The inaugural Southampton Summer Sessions took place last year and featured the likes of Sir Tom Jones, Kaiser Chiefs, and Nile Rodgers and CHIC.

A temporary stage will be erected once again for three weeks in June.
