A new cafe looks set to replace a beloved ice cream and dessert spot on Southampton High Street.
Sprinkles Gelato closed to customers in January, and its windows have been covered with paper ever since.
While the well-known dessert spot served a range of ice cream, creps, cookie dough and other sweet treats, a banner outside the front door shows that something new is coming to replace it.
Rosemary Cafe and Bistro is advertised on a green and gold banner, with text simply saying that the new venue will be 'opening soon.'

Workmen have been spotted inside the premises since the Sprinkles outlet closed in January.
Southampton still plays host to two Sprinkles Gelato stores on Above Bar Street and on Portswood High Street.
Created by the Ahmed brothers trio from Portswood, their first ice cream shop opened on the Broadway in 2012.
In 2013, Sprinkles opened a second store on Above Bar Street and currently have 11 shops across the country.
