A music conference which aims to do for Southampton what Europe's leading new music event The Great Escape did for Brighton is to return to the city next month.
Parallel Music Conference (PMC) returns for its second outing on March 6 and 7 and has more than doubled in size compared to the inaugural event last year.
PMC will take place over two days at three venues in Guildhall Square.
The free to attend conference will consist of panels, workshops, roundtables and networking events aimed at passing on knowledge and insights to the next generation of music industry, artists and creatives.
The event will see Southampton’s two universities collaborate, hosting a diverse programme across their city centre venues.
Networking events will take place at Mettricks.
The event will feature industry guests and speakers from Sony Music, The Brit Awards, Warner Music Group, Radio X, BBC Introducing, The Joiners, EngineRooms and more.
Also hear from artists and producers that have worked with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Beck, and Gregory Porter.
