A drink driver has been slapped with a ban after being caught intoxicated behind the wheel.

Victor Chuinda, 51, of Gannet Close, Southampton, was driving in Hedge End when he was flagged down by police officers on September 22 last year.

A breathalyser test found him to have 97 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

This significantly exceeded the 35 microgramme legal drink driving limit.
