The Test Valley Business Awards is gearing up for another grand celebration.
Following the success of the 2024 ceremony, which saw seven winners from over 150 entries, this year's event promises more.
The 2024 ceremony, attended by 150 to 200 local business representatives, including Mayor, Councillor Ian Jeffrey, and Mayoress Maura Jeffery, was a significant highlight for the community.
The awards recognise businesses and individuals' contributions across the Test Valley area.
Katie Brooks, chairman of the Test Valley Business Awards, said: "I am very excited for the year ahead as we get to recognise and celebrate excellence and innovation within the Test Valley.
"There will be plenty of opportunities for corporate and brand exposure through sponsorship. Please visit our website to find out more information."
The awards kick off with a launch event in March, marking the start of the application process.
The excitement then builds towards the prestigious gala awards dinner, where the winners are announced.
This dinner not only celebrates achievements but also strengthens community ties year after year.
In 2024, the winners were personally congratulated by Councillor Jeffrey, adding a personal touch to their achievements.
He said: "It has been truly inspiring to visit the Test Valley Business Award winners and witness the incredible diversity and innovation across our borough.
"Each of the seven winners demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and passion for their work. It was a genuine pleasure to learn more about these remarkable businesses and celebrate their well deserved achievements."
The winners of the Test Valley Business Awards 2024 were: Stannah for the Business in the Community Award, Preformed Line Products (PLP) for the Sustainability Award, Ilika Technologies for the Business Innovation and Technology Award, K&B Sewing Machines for the New Business of the Year Award, Emily The Physio for the Small Business of the Year Award, Georgina Sutton-Welch of Innoveq for the Young Business Person of the Year Award, and TH White Pro Agri for the Rural Business of the Year Award.
