A new café and events hub is set to open in early summer 2026.

The Hazeley Group has announced a collaboration with The Kitchen @ to operate the new venue, currently known as The Hub.

This development is part of the ongoing growth at Hazeley Enterprise Park, which is set in the scenic beauty of the South Downs National Park.

Planning consent for the project was granted in the spring of 2024, leading to the demolition of several former buildings, including a feed mill.

Construction work is anticipated to start by summer 2025.

The full redevelopment of Hazeley Enterprise Park includes an additional 9,800 square metres of floor space to meet the rising demand from businesses in the area.

Nikki Bream, group managing director of Hazeley Group, said: "I am delighted that we are collaborating with Ben Shaughnessy and his team at The Kitchen @ to run the new café and events space at Hazeley Enterprise Park.

"After talking to a wide range of catering businesses who were interested in our new space here at the Park, we were so impressed with Ben’s enthusiasm for the opportunity and all that it will be able to offer the tenants, the community, and the wider corporate hospitality market.

"With floor space within the Park increasing by nearly 9,800 square metres, the provision of a café that will also incorporate a sizable meeting/event space has been received extremely positively by both current and potential tenants, as well as the wider community, who are keen to support an events and hospitality venue in such a beautiful setting.

"We are starting detailed design work over the next few months, with construction works commencing this summer, and we look forward to opening our doors in early summer 2026."

The café and events hub will serve as a lively centre, providing a first-rate venue for dining, meetings, and both corporate and community events.

In addition, The Kitchen @, led by owner Ben Shaughnessy, is considering leasing an industrial unit within the park to centralise its operations.

Mr Shaughnessy, owner of The Kitchen @, said: "This is an incredible opportunity for The Kitchen @ to expand our operations in a unique and inspiring location."

The park already houses a thriving business community, including companies like Jude's Ice Cream, Dutch Masters, and Cyclife Aquila Nuclear.
