It feels like this is everyday at the moment. I don't remember it being this bad every morning even on Mondays and Fridays last January on the surrounding roads. Even with Charles Watts Way closed.
Delays on the M27 are finally starting to ease as rush hour comes to an end.
AA Traffic Map still reports 'severe' 18 minute delays between Junction 9 and 7 westbound, but queues are now shortening, and this time is decreasing.
The reported average speed has increased to 20mph.
Commuters are still stuck queuing in three lanes of traffic on the M27.
Google Maps reports that delays are now back up to 20 minutes, with roadworks causing queues.

Google Maps reports that delays have slightly eased, but queues mean drivers are still being set back at least 15 minutes.
AA Traffic Map reports that cars are only moving at an average of 10mph westbound between Junction 7 and 9 on the M27.

Delays have been caused by roadworks, as two lanes are closed on the M27 due to resurfacing work between Junction 5 and Junction 9.
A speed restriction of 50mph has been put in place as National Highways replace the concrete surface.
AA Traffic Map reports 'severe' delays, which they believe are still increasing, for traffic heading westbound on the M27.
The map says: "Severe delays of 24 minutes and delays increasing on M27 Westbound between J9 A27 Segensworth Link Road (Segensworth / Fareham) and J4 M3. Average speed 15 mph."

The eastbound carriageway between Junction 7 and 9 on the M27 is unaffected by current delays.
A previous incident on the M3 caused minor delays as traffic backed up onto the M27.
