A school in Whiteley has been forced to close today after a water outage in the area.
Cornerstone Church of England Primary School in Whiteley has told parents not to bring pupils to school as it is without any running water.
Southern Water has said that a burst water main is at fault for the issue and it has deployed teams to fix the issue.
Headteacher of Cornerstone CoE, Tim Clarke, told parents on Facebook: "You may have seen messages about, or experienced it yourselves - the lack of water in areas around Bluebell Way.
"We have been in school early this morning to check the school's situation.
"We have no water coming out of taps within 15-30 seconds, toilets have only flushed once, and the water supply in the kitchen has run out within 30 seconds.
"Therefore for obvious health and safety reasons we will not be able to open the school today.
"Kind regards."

Southern Water currently has teams searching for the burst main and is also set to deliver bottled water to residents in the area.
A spokesperson from Southern Water said: "Our teams are still trying to locate a burst main in the area.
"This is causing low pressures/ no supply to some households.
"We will shortly begin water drop offs to our customers on the Priority Service Register and then will deliver to everyone else.
"A bottled station is being put in place as well. We apologise for any inconvenience.
They previously said: "We are aware of an issue in the area. Our team is on the way to investigate and if necessary carry out any repairs to resolve this.
"If a repair is required, this can sometimes take longer than we'd like, as we need to complete numerous checks and tests.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we thank you for your patience."
