A yellow weather warning has been issued for wind in Eastleigh as the region braces for the impact of Storm Éowyn this morning.
The Met Office has put a yellow warning for wind in place from midnight until 11.59pm on Friday.
Eastleigh is to feel the impact of the first named storm of 2025, Éowyn, with the Met Office warning that the strong winds of more than 60 mile per hour could cause damage to buildings and affect transport.
Rail services have also been affected this morning with trains restricted to just 50 miles per hour.

10am – 5 percent chance of rain – wind speed 32mph
11am – 10 percent chance of rain – wind speed 32mph

1pm – 5 percent chance of rain – wind speed 28mph
2pm – 5 percent chance of rain – wind speed 25mph
3pm – 5 percent chance of rain – wind speed 23mph
4pm – 5 percent chance of rain – wind speed 21mph
5pm – 5percent chance of rain – wind speed 17mph
6pm – 5 percent chance of rain – wind speed 17mph
