A New Forest hotel has launched a dog wash station for muddy pets.
The Beaulieu Inn, situated in a prime walking area, opened the facility to enhance its dog-friendly credentials.
The wash station is now available for both hotel guests and visitors at a small fee. The facility is expected to appeal to guests' pets after a day on the hotel's winter trails.
Helen Hall, general manager of the Beaulieu Inn hotel, said: "We understand that a muddy dog can turn a wonderful walk into a challenging cleanup operation. Our new dog wash station means guests can now fully embrace those muddy winter walks, knowing they have a practical solution waiting for them on their return."
The hotel, alongside The Drift Inn, already had a reputation as a welcoming place for dogs.
Muddy pets can enjoy the wash station before owners and pets retreat to the pub's welcoming atmosphere.
