The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

JOAO RAMALHO,  38, of St Matthew's Close, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing tubs of butter together valued at £21 from the Co-op in Southampton, on January 13 2025. Remanded on conditional bail until April 24 2025.

JAMES MCMURRAY, 36, of Portswood Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing bottles of washing-up liquid together valued at £39.10 from Tesco in Cobden Avenue, Southampton, on January 13 2025. Remanded on conditional bail until March 12 2025.

KEIRA-LEIGH DEACON, 19, of Pearce Row, Botley, admitted stealing a mobile phone in Southampton on January 12 2024. Told to pay £85 costs and £449 compensation to phone's owner.

HARVEY ALLO-NEGUS, 20, of Highfield Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Carlton Road, New Milton, on May 5 2024. Banned from driving for 12 months, fined £440 with £85 costs and £176 victim services surcharge.

JAMES LAMBERT, 36, of Woodley Close, Romsey, pleaded guilty to attempting to steal alcohol valued at £141.50 from Sainsbury's in Southampton, on July 4 2024. One-year conditional discharge and £85 fine.

JAY CLEAL, 21, of Roberts Road, Totton, pleaded guilty to possessing knife/sharp bladed article  in Rumbridge Street, Totton, on August 11 2024. Remanded on unconditional bail until January 31 2025.

BARRY RICHARDSON, 66, of Leaside Way, Southampton, admitted stealing food valued at £373.13 from Tesco in Southampton on May 13 2024. Fined £120 with £85 costs and £48 victim services surcharge, and told to pay £373.13 compensation.

SOPHIE HOBBY, 31, of Wootton Road, Tiptoe, admitted stealing make-up products together valued at £103 from Superdrug in Southampton, on September 15 2024. Fined £103 and told to pay £103.90 compensation.

MITCHELL NEILL, 24, of Beech Gardens, Hamble, pleaded to assaulting emergency worker in Southampton on November 19 2023. Also pleaded guilty to possessing knife/sharp bladed article. Remanded on unconditional bail until May 7 2025.
