AN inquest has opened into the death of a homeless man who was found dead near Brockenhurst.
Alexander Colman, 46, of no fixed abode, was found dead in the Fletchers Hill Inclosure, Rhinefield, on August 24, 2024, an inquest heard.
An inquest into Mr Colman's death was opened on Monday, January 20 at Winchester Coroners' Court by senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson.

Mr Wilkinson said that Mr Colman was discovered dead in his tent by a walker.
The preliminary cause of death has been given as hypothermia.
The full inquest has been adjourned to October 21, to be heard in full at Winchester Coroners' Court.
