These are the latest cases heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

DENNIS TURNER, 30, of Anderby Road, Millbrook, pleaded guilty to threatening to damage or destroy property after he threatened to break a man’s television, and admitted damaging the bodywork and wing mirror of a BMW, on January 8. He also admitted common assault after assaulting a woman December 31, 2024, and criminal damage after he damaged a door frame between November 30, 2024, and December 15, 2024. Turner also pleaded guilty to a second count of criminal damage after he damaged a lamp and light fitting on December 31, 2024. He will appear in the same court on May 1, 2025.

CHRISTINA STONADGE, 37, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to five counts of theft. On June 17, 2024, she stole two bottles of Lucozade worth £3 and a box of Coke Zero worth £12 from Co-op on Weston Lane. She admitted to stealing dairy milk chocolate, Babybel cheeses, and a variety of ham selections worth £75.50 from Co-op on Tickleford Drive on May 20, 2024 and stealing two bottles of Lucozade worth £3 from Co-op on Weston Lane on June 16, 2024. She also admitted stealing six jars of Nescafe coffee worth £36 from Co-op on Tickleford Drive.

Stonadge also pleaded guilty to theft from a motor vehicle after she stole a laptop, watch, Samsung tablet, and Remarkeable 2 notepad worth £3,000 on April 11, 2024.

She admitted stealing chocolate and other food items worth £124.05 from Co-op on July 10, 2024, and later stealing sausages and bacon worth £27.40 from the Co-op on July 14, 2024. She will appear in the same court on May 1, 2025.

ANDREW HOLT, 75, of Cosway Road, Tiverton, Devon, was found guilty in his absence of court of one count of failing to comply with a community protection notice after he did not clear the waste from his front and rear gardens or secure his property from squatters in Southampton on August 2, 2024. He was fined £440 and ordered to pay £288 in compensation. He must also pay crown prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge of £176.
