An alleged Islamic State supporter has appeared in court charged with sharing terrorist publications.
Abdullah Bellil, 29, faces four charges; three of distribution terror documents and one of expressing an opinion in support of Islamic State, a proscribed organisation.
The alleged offences took place on dates between July 2023 and October 2024.
He was arrested by counter terrorism officers at his home address in Southampton on December 18 of last year.
Bellil, of East Street, Southampton, spoke to confirm his name and date of birth via videolink from HMP Wormwood Scrubs at the Old Bailey hearing on Friday.
He was remanded into custody and will next appear at a plea and trial preparation hearing at Kingston Crown Court on May 9.
Mrs Justice Cheema Grubb set a two-week trial from December 1 at the same court.
