A new café has opened in Fareham at the site of a former museum which was closed in 2024.
Westbury Manor Museum was closed by the Hampshire Cultural Trust last year after funding cuts made the museums future untenable.
The new Westbury Manor Café is now open from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 3:00pm and will be managed by Fareham resident Lisa Wright - who also runs the Café At Zero 5 based at Solent Airport.

Fareham Borough Council has said that Lisa is also keen to breathe new life into the private function space adjacent to the café which can accommodate around 20 people.
Local groups that used the space prior to the museum’s closure, and wish to return to the venue, are urged to get in touch.
The council said that Lisa also has plans to reopen the former shop in the future.
