An Asda store in Chandler’s Ford has been targeted in a shoplifting incident that saw damage inflicted to a fire exit door valued at £1,000.
The incident occurred at the store on Bournemouth Road between 11.45pm on December 6, and 12.35am on December 7.
Approximately £60 to £80 worth of items were stolen from the store during the incident.
Police have now released the CCTV image of a man who they believe can help with the investigation.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
“You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44240533196.”
