Registration is now open for a major global exhibition in Southampton.

Ocean Business 2025 will be held at the National Oceanography Centre from April 8 to 10.

The free event is expected to attract more than 5,000 visitors to view over 350 exhibitors.

A larger training and demonstration programme, featuring 180-plus hours of new technologies, will take place in dockside waters, onboard vessels, and in classrooms.

The sessions will showcase the latest in autonomous vehicle underwater monitoring, next-generation remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), and advances in autonomous underwater vehicle technology.

Industry players such as Teledyne Marine, Nortek, and Greensea IQ, along with experts from the Canada Pavilion, will display their products and services in the quayside hospitality suites.

Cheri Arvonio, event director at show organiser Diversified Communications, said: "As the countdown to Ocean Business 2025 begins, we look forward to welcoming the international ocean business community back to Southampton in April.

"We are delighted with the response from exhibitors and we have high hopes that this enthusiasm will be matched by registrations as we gear up for our biggest show yet.

"Ocean Business provides an ideal platform for doing business, forging relationships, hearing industry updates and sharing ideas, and we are confident that this year’s event will turn out to be a memorable occasion for ocean people everywhere."

The expanded exhibition halls will feature developments across the ocean technology sector, with visitors able to test drive the most up-to-date equipment.

The event will also include the return of the Ocean Careers programme, offering students the chance to meet potential employers and gain insights from industry professionals.

A two-day conference will feature leading sector voices addressing critical industry issues.

The MARELEC conference, dedicated to marine electromagnetics, will also take place, with delegates hearing from scientists, engineers, and academics on advances in geophysics, geotechnical engineering, oceanography, and naval warfare.

The exhibition, which is already sold out, offers networking opportunities for visitors from around the world.

Ocean Business 2025 will showcase products from big-name suppliers and new entrants to the industry, offering solutions to shape the future of businesses.
